One thing a little confuses me is that: I don't know when "would imagine" is ok to use except the idiomatic use you mentioned. For example, can I say "If I were a creative person, I WOULD IMAGINE that if aliens came to earth, the human race would be in great danger". My first question: is this sentence (the nested structure of conditionals) entirely correct? My second question: is WOULD IMAGINE subjunctive use? | |
