This gives inaccurate info to readers --> !For your examples, choosing to include "that" is more of a stylistic choice, as you have noted. In a colloquial setting (e.g. a conversation with a friend), it is perfectly okay to drop the "that"." The second example is completely ungrammatical without that. | |
