Some explanation where it is not the "truth" that is as she understood it, but her telling of that truth. As with many cases of interpretation of grammar, one could often find some unusual context where a seemingly nonsensical statement would make sense. | |

Or even in such a case, how to see is not an approprite expression to describe how to tell? | |
