Sep 6, 2015 at 17:08 comment added Chris Cirefice @StoneyB Yeah, that may have been a big thing 20-30 years ago, but I don't think many people will see mimes except at very large tourist attractions or street performances in large cities like New York City.
Sep 6, 2015 at 16:28 comment added StoneyB on hiatus @ChrisCirefice I phrased that badly: "Most Americans who have encountered mimes have ..." I remember them as constant presences in public parks and at street fairs back in the 70s and 80s when I attended that sort of thing.
