Jun 6, 2016 at 21:37 comment added keitereth24 @George Unfortunately, yes. English is very inconsistent, as Rathony mentioned in their answer. A better way to put it (to get rid of the confusion) is "Everyone in my family is a doctor" or "All the people in my family are doctors".
