I have a question about using 'Could not' and 'nor' in the same sentence.

Can I say or write:

I could not find at A nor B

Is this the right grammar? Can I use both 'could not' and 'nor' in the one sentence?

I think you need to say either 'I could not find it at either A or B' OR 'I could find it at neither A nor B'. Commented Oct 4, 2020 at 7:58
  • could not has nothing to do with nor.

Either-or , neither-nor usage

I could not find at A nor B.
Is this the right grammar?
Can I use both 'could not' and 'nor' in the one sentence?

First of all, what was it you couldn't find?
Was it A or B/ something at A or B?
If it's A or B, the correct usage is :
1. I could not find either A or B.
2. I could find neither A nor B.

If it is something at A or B ('it' missing from your sentence).
1. I couldn't find it at either A or B.
2. I could find it at neither A nor B.

You can't use 'could not' and nor instead of neither-nor.
