I have a grammar question:

Is it ok to say "Don't say we didn't tell you" about something that happened in the past?

Yes, it's okay. I'm wondering why you thought there might be something wrong with it. It's hard to say much more when we have no idea what you're wondering about. – J.R. Mar 6 '18 at 12:03
  • How could it not be past? did not tell you=past tense. – Lambie Mar 6 '18 at 16:40

Yes, it is correct. But it would be better to use the following sentence:

  • Don't say that we didn't tell you

  • The that is not necessary. It can be omitted.... – Lambie Mar 6 '18 at 16:40
