First of all , is this sentence correct? If not , how could I rephrase it?

-I hope this is a sufficient requirement to make me have a good and interesting chat with you

Does " sufficient requirement " sound correct at all ? Thank you in advance for your replies.

P.S. I hope I've used the right tags , I'm new here

  • I don't think sufficient requirement is idiomatic in any context. In scientific contexts, a sufficient condition (often, a sufficient and necessary condition) is used quite often, but it's not appropriate in a "personal interaction" context like yours. Just say I hope this is enough [to lead to a good outcome]. – FumbleFingers Mar 18 '18 at 16:03
  • Or simply "I hope this is sufficient to make me have a good and interesting chat with you." – user3169 Mar 19 '18 at 4:00
