Let's say you are the addressee, and the sender sent you a disclamer note 5 days ago. And the sender wrote:

If you are not the intended recipient(s) (or authorised by an addressee who received this message), access to this e-mail, or any disclosure or copying of its contents, or any action taken (or not taken) in reliance on it is unauthorised and may be unlawful.

When I googled it, the synonyms for reliance are dependency, depend, etc, BUT it doesn't suit the context. Could you shed some light please?

It means "any action you take that relies on information obtained in this email is unauthorized", but it's either poorly written or legalese. – Andrew May 27 '18 at 5:29
