Given the following definitions of a class:

A class is the blueprint from which individual objects are created2

A class is the template or blueprint from which objects are made4

What is the difference in meaning between the examples with "the blueprint/template" and the examples with "a blueprint/template"? Why "a blueprint/template" was not used in all the examples?
