Cambridge dictionary says that "to put away" means "to store things where they are usually stored". Can I explicitly mean the usual place of storage when using it? Example:

His mother puts away his toys in the box.

  • The dictionary entry says it means to store things where they are usually stored, so what are you asking? – Michael Harvey Sep 21 at 6:37
