What is the difference between these two conditions?

  1. If you get a chance (1st conditional)
  2. If you got a chance (2nd conditional)

Does the first sentence Just means the condition of getting a chance and the second sentence means that you didn’t get a chance in the past and present and just assuming that if u get a chance? What is the actual difference

  • The first is talking about the future; the second is talking about the past. – Jason Bassford Dec 21 '19 at 15:44
