In the above sentence, ( Although he had never taken piano lessons,he was able to play a song. ) I think this is the main sentence. But In the middle portion of the two main clause, (anytime that jeff, who was unusually intelligent, saw a piano,) it seems appositive, and for this I can't understand the meaning of the whole sentence.( Who is unusually intelligent, saw a piano) it is not clear to me weather it refers jeff or he? And, How can I understand clearly in this type of sentence?
