A: The increasing air pollution in Singapore is due in part to its neighbouring developing countries’ high dependence on fossil fuels.

B: The increasing air pollution in Singapore is due in part to the high fossil fuels dependence of its neighbouring developing countries.

Which sentence is better? is the choice only a matter of different styles? I think A is better because the country's name is followed by the thing possessed (its neighbouring countries), so the reader will transit smoothly from the old information to the new information. Not sure if I am right.
