On this site, the first two definitions of [**"neat"**][1] and [**"tidy"**][2] from Oxford Learner's Dictionary seem to mean the same thing: (for things and people) *orderly* and *organized*.

However, in Merriam Webster's Learner's dictionary, the word **"clean"** also appears in the first two definitions of [**"neat"**][3] and [**"tidy"**][4].

So, do **"neat"** and **"tidy"** also imply *cleanliness* in addition to *order* and *organization*?
