Why "clothespin" and not "clothpin"?
It is "pencil sharpener, can opener, ghost buster" but not "pencils sharpener, cans opener, ghosts buster" etc.
So it should be "clothpin" or "cloth pin" but not "clothespin" (which is also difficult …
