Living near The Hague in The Netherlands, I have spent my working years mainly as a teacher of English in secondary education for the first ten years and as a town council lawyer for the next thirty years. Since my retirement I have been working as a freelance translator Dutch/English. And I play bass guitar and double bass in jazz, blues and sixties pop music bands.
