What is the difference between two clauses below:

  1. He was robbed yesetrday at 1 pm near my house.
  2. He got robbed yesetrday at 1 pm near my house.

    They are syntactically different (auxiliary + participle vs. non-auxiliary + participle), but there is no difference in meaning. Both are in the passive.

They both mean the same, but I would consider "he got robbed" as more colloquial, and I wouldn't expect to see/hear it in more formal situations
