Kind of old-school programmer / systems engineer. More than 20 years experience in systems design and development, mainly for accounting, trading and financial businesses. My personal preference in terms of languages is C++ with a mainly C-style. Outside of work, I enjoy sailing, literature, foreign (human) languages and the odd bit of gaming.
