Yea the one harrison Ford did is exactly what I was thinking. A military salute does seem very different from what he did though. You usually don’t move your hand and your fingers are fully extended. From my experience the gesture with only two fingers seems to be mostly used for saying goodbye. I just thought something so common would probably have a name that I can just google. But I’ve tried a bunch of keywords and none of them lead to anything similar to what harrison ford was doing.
